  • We're here for the pig roast tonight - unbelievably wonderful all u can eat - from salad, potato salad, cole slaw, sweet corn on the cob, baked beans, jalapeño cheddar biscuits (to die for, especially hot out of the oven), and do much more.

This is the local restaurant you always want to find when you're traveling. Hats off to the chef snd staff. Fabulous evening tonight.

  • I tried this place for the first time yesterday and I was very pleased with the entire experience.  This restaurant is ultra cute, but it serves serious food.  I went for lunch, and had the Wholly Cow (Shaved beef ribeye, grafton village cheddar, balsamic soaked onions & Horseradish spread on a baguette) with a side of Mushroom Brie soup.  The bread was a nice crust, and the beef great.  I could have used a bit more salt, but overall, it was simple and good.  The soup was perfect.  It was creamy, but left enough texture to still call it soup instead of sauce.  If I ever have to drive by Brighton again, I will be eating here.

  • I'm not a local. I was looking for a good meal, and wanted something other than the usual Brighton fare. This place showed up as well-reviewed on Yelp, and it seemed to be worth a try. It was. I haven't been this pleasantly surprised by a restaurant in a long time.

About the meal: Mushroom Brie soup: excellent. Salad: dried cherries, goat cheese, chicken: also excellent (and a whomping generous portion).  I had the "comparison of pheasant". Both preparations- confit and seared- excellent, and the herbed risotto was very good. We didn't have dessert because we were full, but I will be back to try the rest of the menu when I'm in the neighborhood.

  • Fantastic soup, salad, and sandwiches. The ambiance is casual and the food far exceeds that of Panera. Would highly recommend if you're in the Brighton area.
